![]() So for mobbing you can remove all your points from Quicken and add it to Res and Scorn So you dont loose much DPS in combat. So dont spam Phaselock for slag, you have enough slag to keep the raid boss slagged and if you're going co op you'll need your phaselock to keep your buddies up. The Grog will allow for easy healthgating when your in trouble. A lot of the kill skills will go to waste so if you wan you can add them to Quicken, Fleet, Accelerate or anywhere you see fit. To kil a raid boss I did add elemental Bee shields to provide added defense from Pete, DRagon, Vorac and other bosses, not just raids, if you wanna farm for things and killing things faster. For added healthgating a Transfusion will bring health trails your way. Once you get a kll, all your DoTs, plus damage stack up to almost instatly bring you to full healths while your shields recharge and soak up the rest of the DoTs on you. The regen you get you get with Elated will help you keep up with a DoT while you apply your wn DoTs with the help of Ruin and Chain Reaction. Healthgating with Maya will not be a problem whatsoever. Then you focus on your phaselocked enemy for your sweet release. What you want to do is phaselock the most dangerous enemies and kill at least one of the enemies that get pulled in with Converge to active Life Tap and your other pretty skills. With this build you can but you sould still be careful, the gear will keep you alive so long as you kill things. So running in guns blazing at OP 8 will never go well, unless your Sal and even he can have trouble. Plus with the bone and Binder COM you already have good cooldown. The small cooldown rate is nice but even at 5/5 the skill will take some time. Here is where the optional skill points go. The damage done by a reflected bullet adds up to health with Life Tap. Having the damage reduction is nice but really what you want is chance to reflect. It's about hitting hard and taking hits.Īnother skill that works well with Life Tap. Your main weapon, Sandhawk, wont suffer at all with the little less damage. ![]() This will help you get Life Tap and all your other sweet kill skills for even more damage and survival.Ī little boost to your overall damage. Some people dont like this skill but I enjoy the added recharge delay this skill, plus Inertia will help keep your sheilds up.Įxactly as the previous skill says, recharges 3.2% of your shield capacity per second helping you keep your sheilds up.Ī very useful skill when grouping enemies. After a recent patch, I think recent, Maya got a huge buff to her skills, Cloud Kill will kill slagged flesh targets at OP 8 and keep you alive with Life Tap.Ĩ0% gun damage on enemeis over 50% health. "this skill suuuucks it does no damage and other words!" Shuddup. This, plus Converge and Wreck, will allow you to damage, possibly kill, anyone near the bubble. This skill will add fire damage to your gun when you are in FFYL (Fight For Your Life) Why this skill you may ask if its a sure fire way to survive? There wot be a day in Pandor where you wont go down! Equip a slag weapon, something with a high fire rate, and viola, your back up!Īha! Here's a skill that allows you to wreck things with Wreck! While you have someone in your Phaselock, any bullet, this sadly doesnt work for E-tech SMGs, has a 40%, almost 50, chance to bounce off an enemy and hit another. The reasoon for this skill is it adds a reliable damage source that will keep you alive with Life Tap. reload speed lets you get those full clips in to keep spamming your bullets plus you get more bullets in your mag. This will make your Sandhawk another Grog Nozzle so long as you keep killing scrubs lol.ĥ/5 in this skill for the DPS. This includes gun, grenades, melee, jumping on enemies and other forms of damage. Which means you ill get 4.8% of your health back based on all the damage you do. This skill give you a 4.8% of life steal. Kinda useless for raid bosses, unless its Terra or a few others. Now for the first kill skill in the build! ne that will make you almost invincible against bandits and bosses. Don,t know what healthgate is? My previous guide explains it. this will help you stay above healthgate. This skill is another one of your health skills. The fun part is getting the enemies grouped up and destroying everything! A skill that activates when you have an enemy in your phaselock. The melee damage is neglegable.Ī very sweet skill indeed, if your health is below half, one kill will keep you alive for longer. This is especially useful when you come across an Ironclad or Burning Psycho.

Full disclosure, I’m an avid FabFilter user and absolutely love their plugins. Brent MarchĪs someone who has owned many FabFilter plugins, I definitely had an expectation of the GUI, feature set and learning curve that Twin 3 would present me. Of course if there’s three misses, there’s no award. One hit and it gets our bronze award, two hits gets silver and for a hit from all three of the panel it gets a coveted gold award. For each hit the products gets an Expert Award. We ask them to give the product a hit or miss, based on factors such as originality, innovation, usefulness, quality and value for money. In every Expert review we ask three of our team of contributors to give their first impressions of the product. Check out our video below to see this in action. It means sound originality is almost guaranteed, whoever you are and wherever you are on your sound journey. What this means is that with Twin 3, you are unlikely to hear the same sound twice appearing on tracks in the charts. In a nutshell, there are presets to get you started but then you can go down the rabbit hole of creativity if you wish. If you are already a FabFilter plugin user then the interface and UX is going to feel familiar, meaning you can get up to speed and be creating complex routings that end up looking like the London Underground map without sending your head into a spin. The sound engine in Twin 3 is impressive and the routing is almost limitless. ![]() However, what FabFilter seem to have done with Twin 3 is create something that has the instant gratification and ease of a rompler with the creative exploration options of a modular synth, sans car alarm! It’s not that anyone hasn’t tried to fill the gap between the two synth camps. Of course there are some very good offerings already out there that attend to some of the above, such as the brilliant Omnisphere by Spectrasonics, but for most people who love it, that’s just another preset player, albiet an impressive one. One costs a ton of money and involves too much time getting a sound, the other is effectively the McDonalds of music creation, fast, easy, but ultimately derivative and not offering much creative nurishment. At the other end is the rompler with a ton of presets and some basic editing options to tweak the sound.įor a lot of people, neither of the above is an option. At one end of the spectrum we have hardware modular, which offers almost limitless flexibility, but for most mere mortals it can take them several hours to get a sound that resembles a car alarm. Often there’s a trade off in the world of synths. Can they bring some of that magic to an already overcrowded synth plugin market with the new FabFilter Twin 3 synth plugin? Three Experts check it out and give their verdict. FabFilter have garnered an enviable reputation in the world of audio processing with their legendary plugins. ![]() ![]()
